Skytrax ranking: Marrakech-Menara Airport in the Top 5 in Africa

The airport of Marrakech-Menara was elected fifth best airport in Africa, according to the ranking of the best African airports in 2021, established by Skytrax, international organization of air transport rating.

The airport of the Ochre City was followed by the Mohammed V airport in Casablanca, which is in 6th position, according to Skytrax, which has been conducting evaluations of airlines and airports around the world since 1989.

Cape Town airport in South Africa dominates the ranking, ahead of two other airports in the country, Durban and Johannesburg, followed by Mauritius.

Addis Ababa Airport (Ethiopia) is in seventh place, followed by Kigali (Rwanda), Port Elizabeth (South Africa) and Bloemfontein (central South Africa).

To compile its rankings, Skytrax asked travelers about their experience at African airports.

The survey evaluated the customer experience in its performance indicators for airport services: check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security, immigration, boarding, etc.
